Custard tart is a dessert loved by many; it is frequently served at birthday celebrations and other occasions. It is easy to prepare, requiring minimal time and effort, and can be customized with various additions such as cream, chocolate, or fruit. In this article, we will explore how to prepare delicious custard tart. To make the custard tart, you will need the following ingredients:

For the crust: 2 cups of all-purpose white flour, 1/4 cup of fine sugar, a pinch of salt, 1/2 cup of cold butter, 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla, 2 egg yolks, and 2 tablespoons of water. For the filling: 1/2 cup of custard powder and 2 tablespoons of liquid milk. Preparation: Place the flour, sugar, and salt into an electric mixer and blend.

Add the cold butter and continue mixing. Add the water, egg yolks, and liquid vanilla, mixing until the ingredients are well combined and a cohesive dough forms. Roll out the dough on a smooth, floured surface using a rolling pin, then place it into a tart pan that has been greased with vegetable oil. Refrigerate the tart for two hours—or until it firms up—then remove it from the refrigerator and prick the base several times with a fork.

Place the tart in a medium-heat oven for thirty minutes, or until it turns golden brown. Remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool slightly. Unmold the tart, place it on a large tray, and refrigerate for two hours or until chilled. In a pot over the stove, combine the custard ingredients and milk, stirring well until the mixture is smooth; then, remove from the heat and set aside. Take the tart out of the refrigerator, fill it with the custard, and return it to the refrigerator for another two hours, or until the filling has set completely.
